So there is this model. And it is so pretentious that it is called "The Big Model". It claims that there are only three good reasons to play games : (1) because you like telling stories, (2) because you like competition, or (3) because you like exploring/portraying a simulated world accurately.
Thus according to this model there are only three acceptable types of games : Story Games, Step on Up Games, and Right to Dream Games.
