These usually are held in 'hand' or kept within sight even when not being displayed or "in play" for the time being, where several "decks" of some are drawn from according to the individual 'sort' of any. There can also be 'devices' that are placed upon or around any and then provide additional "effects" in some manner, as ascribed for the particular "Game" they are featured about. They can consist of 'cardstock', or some other material with varying shapes and sizes that may then affect the "gameplay" as well..
