I'm a librarian and web content developer, and a player of RPGs, board games, and some card games. I'm a lifelong fan of comics, pulp magazines, old radio shows, and old (and new) movies.

I love playing RPGs much in the same way I played "Let's Pretend" on the playground or played with Star Wars action figures as a kid: imaginative play and cooperative, collaborative story creation. Crunchy game mechanics or "rules lite," I'm good at all points of the spectrum, as long as everyone is creating together. I don't do well with games where the players are expected to follow the GM's plot.

The RPGs I've enjoyed the most are: HeroQuest, Burning Wheel, Mouse Guard, Sorcerer, Breaking the Ice, Trollbabe, My Life With Master, Classic Traveller, and Basic D&D.

The games I'm most interested in playing now are: Castles & Crusades, Icons, Smallville, Doctor Who, Burning Wheel, Burning Empires, HeroQuest, In a Wicked Age and The Dying Earth.

I'm currently playing in a regular Mongoose Traveller game.
