I live in Sydney, Australia, and have done so since 1980 (with brief flirtations with other addresses). A player since mid 1981, started GMing 3 months later. One campaign has been active since October 1982! I currently run 6 campaigns. I'm an award-winning MIDI composer and I've had more than 30 articles published on various subjects (mostly RPG related. Currently, I'm gearing up to author a series of pro e-books on GMing.

I"m into classic SF novels, Fantasy (Eddings & Feist in particular), Courtroom dramas (12 Angry Men is my all-time favorite movie), and motorsports (especially Formula 1). I've worked as a programmer, analyst programmer, systems analyst, bookkeeper, field hand, network engineer, personal assistant, retail clerk, pumped petrol, decorated christmas trees, fitted out shopfronts and warehouses, and I'm currently the webmaster for a small Australian Charity.

I have a fondness for turn-based strategy games and racing games. I have a collection of thousands of comics from the 1920s to late 1980s, hundreds of casettes, hundreds of LPs (some overlap), hundreds of CDs (some overlap), and approaching 100 DVDs.

I struggle with back pain at times, thanks to an old injury, I'm in my mid-40s, and my most satisfying achievements are talking someone out of suicide using IRC and helping someone else come to terms with the loss of their hiusband in 9/11 through a piece of music composed to summarise my feelings on the subject.

My goals are to become a successful pro writer for RPGs, and to release CDs of my original music.
