Well, I have.
I'm sure there's folks around here who also had ideas, but neither the resources nor the collaborators needed to really develop the idea. If you're one such person, by all means join in on this conversation!

Years ago me and a friend started working on making our own game and system. It was a Sci-fi game and we worked out a percentages based roll system using two D10. It's been to long to really remember more about it.
I got a few in the works myself. A simple dice game focused on team play, a Magic-like card game with a shared deck, and a post-apocalyptic RPG that feels a bit like WoD.
Finishing up the internal playtesting for my own game right now, but i have another one that needs to be tested and more stuff added to the setting sitting off to the side that was worked up for a contest. My main game is a bit more traditional, but not set in a high fantasy setting, but in a setting that is a bit more of a modern feel to it. The other one is based roughly on the books, "The twelve kingdoms", and "The mysterious play".
I am part of a community of indie gamers here in Portland, and about roughly half of us are game designers.
Been working on an RPG system that's kinda turning out to be similar to WoD in terms of stats, but then again I always found WoD a great system for story-based RPing. Also got some ideas jotted down for a dice game and a card game too. Perhaps I will flesh those out in due time myself.
