Want to play low budget CCGs then get a beer?

Right then,

Time for another broadcast I think.

Is anybody up for playing some casual Magic The Gathering in London? I'm looking to get together a playgroup of people who enjoy kicking about low-money casual decks.

In an ideal world I'd like to see if I could get a circle of people together who'd be interested in trying out pauper magic. That way everybody could be as competitive as they felt like, without having to resort to the crazy prices of chase-rares etc.

For those who don't know what pauper is, it's an MTG format where only cards printed at common are permitted. The aim is to get all of the competitive fun of MTG, without the huge price-tag of top tier decks. It's a surprisingly deep format with a lot of scope for deck-building (trust me, you'll be amazed what you can do with just commons), and anybody can throw together several highly competitive decks without having to pay more than a tenner.

Anyway, I'd be glad to hear from anybody whose interested in getting some casual MTG going on, regardless of the format.

I'm a magic player, recently moved to London and looking to play some draft and/or casual magic.

Would even like to play some pauper magic (I'd need to get commons 'cause I sold everything except my deck when leaving the Netherlands)

Cheers!
