What's the generally feeling on putting Gaming Stores on the map?
Good idea or should this be a resource for individuals only?

I'm going to make a system for gaming stores to advertise by adding a marker to the map, but it's a little ways off.
One or two have joined as gamers and I don't mind them for now, but I'm not rolling out the carpet until I've built them their own login system.
Is this going to be as a separate tag? If so, any thoughts of also adding one for clubs? John
Then should we hold off on using events as tags?
I figure it'll take me about three weeks to get to those three markers, so if your event is soon just go on using a tag and don't sweat it. But there's no need to add more otherwise.
Are you going to make events or "stores" to require a seprate account? Or could they be like "sub" Accounts.
Like if a gamer here owns a game store, should they make a seperate account to tag said store, or wil they be able to create a special second tag under their primary account that is marked as a store.
Plus, perhaps you should require some sort of confirmation for "stores". At they very least, have them show you a legit website or something.
Otherwise some not so upstanding people might start tagging various locations as game stores that arent for whatever reasons.
P.S. I'll get you that screenshot in a bit.
How should these group markers work? Will every group get a different marker? I think tags are more than enough for groups.
all looking good so far. what are you and everyone else doing to promote this little site?
I've had requests for flyers that folks could put up around their school or store, but I don't have anything like that or the design chops to whip one up.
I've been planning to run some ad campaigns on Google AdWords and Yahoo AdCenter when events, groups, and stores are in.
Suggestions welcome.
Did you ever find someone to make markers or other design elements for you? If not, I’d like to volunteer my services...
