I know it's last-minute, but I'm running a one-shot of "Spirit of the Century" rpg from Noon to Six in North Portland and I've got three seats open. Some of the scheduled players had to change plans suddenly.
You don't need to know the rules. It's an easy, cinematic game with lots of player-driven action. The adventure is called "Talons of the Jade Emperor," and it's firmly in the pulp genre with tongue most definitely in cheek.
