I am looking to play an online play by chat game using something like Openrpg, AIM, Skype, etc. I would like to play one of the following:

Savage Worlds Final Fantasy (Returners) Palladium Fantasy Chronicles of Ramlar Fireborn Hollow Earth Expedition or Spirit of the century...

If you have a suggestion that is not D&D i would not mind hearing it as well.

I also wouldn't mind doing a play by chat. I have some experience with OpenRPG and skype. I'm looking to play Call of Cthulhu, and am not familiar with the games you mentioned. I wouldn't mind taking a look at them though if we can get a substantial group together.

I have skype and iChat, and i'd be open to getting more stuff. I have the World of Darkness series, with the core books for geist hunter and werewolf. This sounds like it'd be really fun! Only thing i'm concerned about is the dice rolls, which i believe we can all go on the honesty policy.

OpenRPG is actually a program that allows you to simulate dice rolls. Google it and check it out. I believe it's still freeware. I'm not in possession of the World of Darkness rulebooks, so I couldn't run a game, but if someone explained the basics I'm sure I'd pick it up quick. I can run Call of Cthulhu though.

I just downloaded it and it seems great to me! Only thing i have a problem with is making the maps on it, i don't want to have to go through all that detail on a computer. I'd rather draw lol. Anyways, I don't have the Call of Cthulhu books but i obtain some, if you're down to run a game of it.

I suggest checking out the World of Darkness series, it's pretty fun. It uses only d10's, and your stats are dots which represents one die in the dice pool. You combine them with skills (also dots) to perform certain tasks.

sounds cool. I'll have a look. If we can get a few more who want to do online play, we can discuss what direction we should go. I'm flexible.

Sounds great, join my group "World of Darkness." It's just an RPG group that i'm trying to get some people to play, but we haven't decided on what yet. I think that having like, a few people at each point for openrpg would be cool. Having someone DM online with one of the players with them and then another group of players on the other end at one computer so it constricts chat, or everyone online. either way, i think this can work out really well. Let's find some people!
