Hi. I know we're a rare breed, but how many female rpg'ers are out there? I met my partner through a game, and we've been together ever since, (13 years this summer). anyone else with stories of romance found through the rattle of dice and the stabbing of monsters?

Yep there are more of you out here :)
My wife and I met through gaming, and we've been together and gaming for 16 years :)
Well, I'm female and I know of/have gamed with 6 other females in Montreal, and know of at least a dozen more. I met my significant other in a college games' club. We're just finishing up a 12-year campaign set in HarnMaster (which is the system he introduced me to when we met ... many years prior). We've played in several campaigns over the years, some I've GM'ed, and some GM'ed by others.
I am a female gamer. I also met my husband through our game group and have been married for 6 years now. There was always at least one other female in all of my groups for the past 10 years, until recently. I moved and have only been able to find males since! -_-
Er...not that that is necessarily a bad thing mind you... :p
But I'm not really very "girly." Well...maybe a Viking "girly."
Yep, there's more of us out here than you think. I met my boyfriend through gaming about 7 years ago or so. Haven't found many female gamers in my area though.
wow i feel so young....i invented ruin >.< der and uh well me and a few friends played and i got my girlfriend to play its fun ^.^ but yea thats cool.
My wife and I didn't meet through gaming but we've certainly bonded through it. In every gaming group I've been in since college it's been50/50 between guys and girls, for the most part, and some of those groups were pretty large.
High school was an all-boys club, though. Except when my girlfriend tried to play. Which, the less said about, the better.
Girl gamer here! Didn't meet my husband through gaming, but his GMing abilities were certainly one of the reasons I decided to keep him!
Our groups tend to be about 50/50 male/female.
While I didn't meet my ex through role playing, it's his fault that I started to slowly explore the gaming world. While we aren't together anymore, he brought me to my first game day this past weekend and I had a blast
