Hey All,
Has anyone ever used any of these tools? (http://www.rptools.net)
They look interesting and they say that they're open-source programs, but I'm always a little hesitant to load something unknown onto my PC.
So, I'd like to hear for anyone here who has actually used any of the RPTools suite.
Thanks, in advance!

I've loaded them and played with them, and they run well. I've never participated in a live game, though. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate.

Update: Been playing with Maptool for a week now
They seem to work rather well, there are a few quirks but easily worked around.
So far pretty happy with it... working on a inn map to see what I can do...
A pet peeve
- Trying to get items and tokens that are in the same style -- some are cartoonish, others are realistic, some have shadows and others don't, some are in perspective and others are top down.
Makes it kind of hard to cobble together a good looking map... wish I could afford these "map sets" that some people are selling LOL, maybe if I start using it a lot more I might take the plunge and buy one.
Until then... players that mention the idiosyncrasies in the items will lose XP LOL
